My son and I were back in Wildwood this past weekend. Here are some more observations:
They are still working to replace all the draw poker monitors in Mariner's Arcade. They had custom glass panels made to replace the openings were the old monitors were.
Jumbos was changed to Founder's Grub & Pub.
Stephen's Restaurant has replaced Nan & Pop's and is now open.
They added "Diner" and "Lunch & Dinner" to the Marvis restaurant in North Wildwood.
They finished the addition to the Marvis Diner in Wildwood, and they added solar panels.
They also used some of the old kitchen equipment as planters.
Tony Lukes is now a pancake house/ice cream parlor and it was open.
They are putting solar panels over the bus terminal parking lots in Wildwood.
The Mudhen cottages on Rio Grande Ave are nearing completion.
Rio Grande Liquors is now Liquor Downtown.
I visited this park on Juniper and New York for the first time. I didn't know it existed.
I got some Mack's and Peanut Butter & Chocolate Kohr's Brothers to finish off the trip. They were great like always!
Great pre season inspiration. Looking forward to the privilege of another upcoming visit. Great pics. Thanks for posting.......Warren
Thanks for the great photos and updates! Everything looks great and it's really nice to people putting serious money into their places of business. As cold as it is this week it's only 3+ weeks until Labor Day weekend!
I’m envious that you get to go down so often! Do you remember if the Founders Pub signage was up Easter Weekend? I’m trying to recall whether or not it still said Jumbo’s.
Always fun to read, my friend
