You heard it here first. The OceanView lobby is just starting to be rebuilt. A large crane is lifting the steel beams into position.

It looks like they are going higher than the original lobby from what I could tell in person. Once this project is completed I believe it will be one of the finest examples of a proper renovation/restoration. I believe next year they will be adding the additional floor which had some nice little architectural elements to it as well. I just hope they get themselves a nice neon sign to put the icing on the cake.
Thank you, it's great to see progress being made. I can't really tell from the photo but it looks like they may have placed sliding doors in all the units nut I can't tell for sure.
