What a cool thing to see! Such a shame that the building and painting fell into such disrepair! I thought I had read somewhere that they reached out to the artist to redo it, but he turned it down. Who knows what was actually discussed.
I did see a press release from Wyland's people stating that he was too busy to repair the mural and that was ok with someone else doing the restoration. Maybe he would not have felt the same way if he knew what the result would be.
That really was a great find. Thanks for posting that. And to see him using an air sprayer was just great. July 1993 was four years to the month before our first ever Wildwood visit. ......Warren
wow!!! thank you so much for uploading this, this is historic! that mural was beautiful, those new mall owners really dropped the ball with it, it's a shame. to think, I was down there for the first time at around the same time of this video, chills down my spine. and to see the beautiful castle in the background too...
