Hello friends of Wildwood Doo Wop!..
I'm a New Jersey born/raised/educated comic book cartoonist and storyboard artist now living in Los Angeles. Over the past three and a half years, I've been working with Kirk Hastings, Wildwood Doo Wop author/historian on a most unique venture in capturing the Wildwood Doo Wop motel movement in graphic novel form, titled 'The Wildwood Days of Doo Wop'. The graphic novel is a 90+ page, full color experience with over 150 motels illustrated with informative/observational facts including the many faces behind our favorite signs and motels (owners and builders) and the music history that paralleled the movement and gave it its name. We're very excited for lovers of Doo Wop to have this reading experience!.. A tentative release is set for August 2021 and will include a release event in Wildwood.. More to come on the specifics.
If you're interested in keeping up with when the pre-order goes live, or just how the process/sneak peaks are released, please follow either my Instagram: bomshell_comics OR on Facebook: @BombshellComics OR keep up with my website: www.bombshell-comics.com
Here's a low-resolution page of the long-gone, Carriage Stop and Ranch House motels:
See you in the summer!!..

Hi everyone!.. Just wanted to inform those who are interested, that 'The Wildwood Days of Doo Wop' graphic novel is now available here: www.bombshell-comics.com/comics.html
Kindest,
Michael
Maybe you can arrange something with the Doo Wop Museum, which is likely to be hosting the event. 551-2289, and of course 609 area code. Or, visit the creator's web site: https://www.bombshell-comics.com and contact him directly.
Right now, they're all sold out, but a second printing is underway. Check the events calendar at https://wildwoodsnj.com for a new round of book signings, possibly in October. Also, watch this thread. I'll post the information here.
missed the preorder and the meets in Wildwood to get one. How can I get one?
Here are some photos of Stella Star with the artist and editor!
