The Wildwood Boardwalk is having issues with their fiber-optic communication system, and at parts of the boardwalk near Schellenger Avenue, the National Anthem will not e heard for the remainder of the 2021 summer season. They are at work repairing the issue as efficiently as possible, but the damage is extensive.

That is a shame but I guess there is nothing they can do to repair it faster. I would bet the salt air has an affect on the system over time.
